Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:SEICA (company)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:SEICA (company), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. VVikingTalkEdits 13:27, 28 August 2023 (UTC)

- Thank you so much for the clarification, please do not delete the page that i am working on, I will take some days to prepare it for submission and I absolutely need the time to perform all changes. As previously mentioned in a previous "contest of nomination" I stated that I am doing a research in industrial electronics and I am setting up the page for SEICA (company) exactly like the existing SPEA (company) page. For technical reasons, both pages have in their corporate sites the main sources. Please keep it untouched and, please, remember that the SPEA (company) page is online from many years on Wikipedia, I do not want to violate any Wiki policy and I just want to create a page that could be very useful for automatic test equipment (ATE) users. Thank you in advance and regards YumaIOT (talk) 16:23, 28 August 2023 (UTC)

- Thanks for the explanation, maybe I made some mistake in formatting the references, because I am reporting exactly the same references that I am using in my university research about ATE in Electronics and Lighting. Will correct and resubmit, of course, or you prefer to give me other hints before resubmission? For the article, I took inspiration from the existing SPEA (company) page (by the way: SPEA and SEICA are the top european competitors in ATE manufacturing, so that for completeness WP must contain both of them (or none of them)). Please forgive me if I misunderstood. KR, YumaIOT YumaIOT (talk) 12:42, 30 August 2023 (UTC)

- Dear McMatter, may I ask you to better explain why you think that the cited sources are not reliable? Just for comparison, because I am looking to the SPEA (company) as a reference, may you explain how the SPEA (company)'s sources are qualified so that I can take inspiration from them? It's just to better understand and to get an example in the same SEICA's category (Automatic Test Equipment). Thanks in advance, KR, Yuma YumaIOT (talk) 14:17, 31 August 2023 (UTC)

Hello YumaIOT. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:SEICA (company), gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:YumaIOT. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=YumaIOT|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:45, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hi DoubleGrazing, if you read my previous comments, I am an independent electronic researcher preparing a PH Thesis on ATEs.
- In my thesis I am referring to the top world ate players that are Teradyne, Spea and Seica, and in this context i am making the SEICA page because it is strangely missing on Wikipedia, while the other two (Teradyne and SPEA) are on wiki and the SPEA article has no reference (please check if you think that I am wrong). Hope having definitely clarified, thanks and regards. PS: it would be nice being payed for making an article, but unfortunately it is not my situation ;-) YumaIOT (talk) 07:41, 8 November 2023 (UTC)

AfC notification: Draft:SEICA (company) has a new comment
- Hi McMatter I appreciate a lot your feedbacks, please forgive me but in your last comment I cannot understand what I am doing wrong with references, I mean: I put just public sites, newspaper articles and online magazine references, what do you mean exactly? It is just to understand how to manage this situation. YumaIOT (talk) 07:48, 8 November 2023 (UTC)

- Hi may I ask what reference(s) are not qualified? I put a dozen of references so that I would need to know what of them are not good in order to remove/change them, may you help me? Thanks in advance, KR, Yuma YumaIOT (talk) 09:27, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- As I said in my earlier review comment, with the possible exception of ref #5 (now #4), none of the sources meets the WP:GNG standard required.
- I should also warn you that this has now been declined 11 times, which is exceptional. There is a real risk that at the next review it will be rejected outright, if the sources aren't materially better. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:31, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- Dear DoubleGrazing thank you so much for the explanation, I will work to fix the sources as better as possible. May I ask you a favor? May you indicate me what sources were used for approving the following article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPEA_(company) I cannot find them (for taking example), maybe they are hidden or visible just for reviewers? YumaIOT (talk) 13:16, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- SPEA (company) will soon be deleted, because it has no sources. You should base any draft on featured articles or good articles not garbage. Theroadislong (talk) 13:19, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- OK, sure, will do it. Thanks again for the explanation. KR, YumaIOT (talk) 13:41, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
