The village that is having the facilities at par with the towns. NH5 goes across prathipadu. Prathipadu looks beautiful with its beautiful mountains, farmlands. Prathipadu has very modern amenities like a very good government hospital, Police station with sub-jail.
A good number of temples, churches and mosques are there. In prathipadu village
an ancient temple of lord Shiva is there which is called as "Dandeswara swamy temple”.
There is a good number of academic institutions are located in the prathipadu mandal like
B.V.R.Z.P.P.High school which is established before our independence in prathipadu village, an engineering college named R.V.R &J.C college of engineering in yanamadala village and medical college named KATURI medical college in edulapalem village And a well equipped degree college is also there in prathipadu village these are some of the known institutions in the prathipadu mandal.
