Halifax Street is a major street in the south-eastern sector of the central business district of Adelaide, South Australia.[1][2] It runs east-west between East Terrace and King William Street. It was named after Sir Charles Wood (later Charles Wood, 1st Viscount Halifax), British Member of Parliament for Halifax and Commissioner of Emigration.[3]

Halifax Street passes through Hurtle Square.[1][2]
