Some Wikipedians have formed a project to better organize information in articles related to Halo. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. Project overview

Goals

  1. To craft well-written and properly organized profiles for all relevant characters, races, technology, devices and other notable items in the Halo universe.
  2. To create a consistent look for Halo-related articles.
  3. To streamline the navigation of Halo-related articles.
  4. Make all Halo content Featured.

    • Article needs to be expanded, copyedited, and checked for timeliness/relevance of facts and figures. Sources need to be double-checked for reliability and access.

    • Development and Reception should be expanded, plot cited where possible.
  • Raise four articles from the Bungie featured topic to FA status
  • Halo 4
  • Halo Wars 2
  • Halo 5: Guardians
    • Needs revamp for reception and out-of-universe content, as well as citations and cleanup throughout.
Other tasks

Scope

  • This WikiProject aims primarily to improve and organize articles relating to the Halo series and all its spin-offs. It attempts to coordinate the writing efforts, organize and create standards for making good articles. It endeavours to create a good reference for the Halo universe.
  • Even though all topics will be worked on, this project will make a particular effort regarding the main game articles.
  • We do not need fancruft or pages on minor things, such as Flash clone.

Adoptions

You might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research and writing for either a non-existent article, a stub or just an article in general that you are interested in. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced. You can also adopt an article if the work on it is primarily yours, but allow others to work on it in the best of Wiki spirit (in other words, you want to keep a close eye on it).

To adopt an article, paste the following: <font color="#006600">~~~</font> next to the article to let everyone know that you have adopted that article.
