Kodikulam is a panchayath in Idukki district of Kerala state in India. It is about 12 kilometers east of Thodupuzha, the nearest town. People here are mainly farmers and rubber is the main plantation. Main centers in Kodikulam panchayath are East kodikulam, West Kodikulam, Parappuzha, Thennathoor,Thalakkampuram,chalakkamukku, Vellamchira and Vazhakkala. The population here contains of Hindus, Christians and Muslims.. Kodikulam is divided into two - Eastern part called as Kizhakke Kodikulam and the western side known as Padinjare Kodikulam. It is a peaceful agrarian country side of Kerala, where people reside in harmony.
