Hey, sorry... Do you think minor wardrobe alterations in an tour are worth mentioning? Like if at the beginning of a tour, the star wears a blue skirt and by the end she ends up wearing a purple skirt. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message02:52, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It seems like I'm always asking you for stuff and apologizing for it. But I'm not gonna stop :P Anyways, I really need help on the commercial outcome of the Best of Both Worlds Tour. I have two links and that's it -.- I definitely need more. Can you please help? BTW, i ended up making a section for the body double scandal. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message21:54, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Have you tried webcite archives to check if they have the archived links for billboard.com/bbbiz/currentscvore.jsp? Thats more easier than me finding through all of them. — Legolas(talk2me)07:37, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Take any of the archived links from The Monster Ball Tour Box office score webcite links. Now on the right hand side, there will be a date tab where it will list you all the archives for that link under different dates. Search through those dates around Cyrus' tour. — Legolas(talk2me)08:25, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I really don't want to abuse of you. I know your condition inhibits you doing so much and to do something you don't even want to must be horrible. Is Eric still hibernating? -- ipodnano05 * leave@message20:26, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
He never responded though. I left another message on his wall. Hopefully he answers, I'm only missing that section. I even finished the complicated "Ticket controversy" section. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message03:13, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Legolas,
Yes I do remember you, of course, and I'm glad to have heard from you again. I'm sorry that there has been such a delay in my replying. I have two books that go up to the Fever timeframe, so if you could just let me know what kind of information you're looking for, I'll see if there's anything suitable. The books are:
Baker, William; Minogue, Kylie, La La La, Hodder & Stoughton, 2002. ISBN 0-340-73439-6
Smith, Sean, Kylie Confidential, Michael O'Mara Books Limited, 2002. ISBN 1-85479-415-9
(The second one is as cheesy as the unimaginative title suggests, but there may still be something useful in it.)
I've looked through both books - Kylie Confidential is useless trash. I may as well throw it in the rubbish bin. There's nothing suitable and the author should be thoroughly ashamed of himself for producing a "biography" of an artist and not discussing the most successful phase of her career. La La La has some suitable material, although it's almost entirely from the POV of Minogue and/or William Baker. I'll update the article myself as time permits. There's not much, especially in the background of the album, but there are a few interesting things, such as how they approached choosing the album cover artwork etc. I don't think it's what you were looking for, but I'll contribute these few points to the article as time permits. Cheers Rossrs (talk) 00:35, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Two days without editing made me think you had broken your other hand Legolas (lol you'd be typing like this). Anyways, did you manage to find the Music Week issue? Adabow (talk · contribs) 09:36, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Lol Ada, I kinda thought the same thing too :D Legolas, can you do a little something for me? I'd like to know the peak, issue and volume of the song "Here We Go Again" by Ray Charles and Norah Jones, released in 2004. It charted on the Bubbling Under chart. Novice7 (talk) 09:44, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I thought you would like it... sigh. Never mind, Andy then :P Yes, Maghu, after I give some magic to the two new Gaga craps which have sprung up. — Legolas(talk2me)09:46, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Me too Ada, can I call you Andy??? Thank youu Legolas :D Yeah, they need some meat.. Btw, you know they're nomed for Deletion?? Novice7 (talk) 09:52, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Lol, I'm sorry for causing edit conflicts Andy :D I usually get around five when I try to post on Legolas' talk page :) Novice7 (talk) 10:05, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Coming from the "Run the World" remix, I think it is fantastic, especially since I had no good thoughts about the original. Yet, am I the only one who notices the sample of the singing chorus from the end of Weird Al's "Amish Paradise?" It sounds cool, but what an odd sample. --ĈÞЯİŒ1ооо02:49, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
"Yoü and I"
Even though you voted for the deletion of "Yoü and I", if you see any way to help expand the article any assistance would be much appreciated. Apart from the additional sources yet to be added, I think the article could be expanded even with the sources already used. I understand if you are uninterested--I am just trying to recruit quality contributors to help if possible. Thanks! --Another Believer(Talk)15:53, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I truly appreciate your efforts in trying to build up the article, but at present it fails WP:GNG on so many grounds, that I'm spellbound. I do believe that eventually this might gain enough notability ala "Speechless", till then I have mixed feelings regarding it. I will of course try and help you expanding it. (PS: I couldn't help but noyice that you called me quality contributer :P) — Legolas(talk2me)16:02, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ha! Well, I certainly respect your work. If much of "Judas" is your work too, well done! Any assistance with expansion would be much appreciated. I especially need help fleshing out the prose, a skill you appear to have. --Another Believer(Talk)16:04, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) Sorry, perhaps my definition of GNG is skewed. In my opinion, there are enough independent, reliable sources discussing that song that allow it to have its own article. I just don't see the point of deleting the article, especially if there is potential (at least a merge would save the article history). Thanks for any help with "Y&I"...--Another Believer(Talk)16:11, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
There in lies the problem because all sources talk about the live performed song, not the album version. Hence it would be premature to add a composition I believe. — Legolas(talk2me)16:14, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I added a few more sources. Once you have completed your work at TEOG, I could use assistance gathering details from the sources already incorporated into the "You and I" article and finding new ones to add. I think you are better at expanding articles and knowing which details to include (I must have a list-oriented brain, as many of the articles I work on are lists). I am not sure how much detail to include for the Reinhart cover, but there are quite a few sources online relating to her performance as well as the studio recording. If the studio version is released as a single or appears on an American Idol-related album, those details would also be worth noting. Thanks again for offering to help! --Another Believer(Talk)23:14, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes nice owrk on it. Would you mind a little reformatting? The dates need to be in yyyy-mm-dd format per WP:GAGA, since the primary Gaga articles are structured in a similar manner. — Legolas(talk2me)08:27, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I was wondering if you found anything else to add to the article or if you still felt that it needed to be deleted (given your AfD vote) regardless of the fact that the song will be released very soon and there will be more reception details to add, etc.? --Another Believer(Talk)03:49, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm waiting for consensus on the Afd actually, finding sources is not a big deal at all for me. I can whiff up the article to GA class even now, lol, just waiting. — Legolas(talk2me)04:20, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh. Why wait? Your contributions could impact the AfD discussion. (BTW: I am amazed at all the icons every time I go to your profile page--well done!) --Another Believer(Talk)15:02, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I added two sources to the talk page relating to the airing of Gaga's HBO performance on American Idol. Not sure if this is notable or not. If it is, I am not sure how to incorporate it into the article (in the Live performances section or following Reinhart's Idol performance in the Cover versions section). --Another Believer(Talk)16:21, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Information like transmission should be affter the live performance. Like for Y&I, you should include it just after you talk about the Monster Ball performances. Its still Gaga's performance albeit recorded live. And what icons? — Legolas(talk2me)16:36, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Done! I suppose repetitive things such as table conversions are especially difficult with one hand, right? :-) So basically you have to name the headers with scope="col" and scope="row" and use "wikitable plainrowheaders" so that the rows aren't bolded. Adabow (talk · contribs) 05:47, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Actually opposite. If its a repetitive thing, I can use MS Word and use the Ctrl+H function. I did not know this was also repetitive. But thanks a dime. And I commented at "Single Ladies". :P — Legolas(talk2me)05:49, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have any Rolling Stone issues, or do you know any other way to source the 100 Best Songs of the Decade? A meagre page number and date would be a life saver. If not, do you think Stereogum's analysis would cut it as reliable (owned by Buzz Media)? Adabow (talk · contribs) 08:39, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Also, do you know what page number the UK R&B Chart is on on the Music Week issue of January 18, 2009? I know I'm asking a lot; sorry! I'll do something to make up for it lol. (Listen to me, grovelling at your feet...) Adabow (talk · contribs) 08:42, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Gimme some time, about to have some good lunch. (Rice and Chicken curry) I have to bring down the Rolling Stone mags. I keep them bound by year. :) Anyways the 100 best songs of 00's was on 2010-01-23 issue I believe. I have to look the volume. — Legolas(talk2me)09:07, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know if you remember, but that video that you gave to me about the Kylie interview on Fever, I have FINALLY found time to add information from that to the article. Now, I think you said you knew how to source it? --ĈÞЯİŒ1ооо01:57, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It is a YouTube video, but I've been told that YouTube is unreliable for such information. It isn't even from her official channel. --ĈÞЯİŒ1ооо02:27, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No silly boy, of course it should be sourced. But remember, adding an url is not always mandatory. For eg: when you use book references, you use {{cite book}} template, but do we use any url? No. Its similar to the intervies. Cite the episode, channel, date, time, interview length, presenter name etc. that should do. — Legolas(talk2me)13:37, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, URLs are helpful, but a lot of videos on YouTube are copyvios. YouTube links should only be included if they are uploaded by the copyright holder ie an official channel. Adabow (talk · contribs) 20:19, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wait would that interview by a copyright violation? I mean, that YouTube channel is obviously in no way affiliated with the interview, they don't even had audio from the person asking the questions. --ĈÞЯİŒ1ооо20:42, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Re:Meat dress of Lady Gaga
Hi there,
Thanks for your comments regarding the article. I've got to admit I only created it due to a combination of a remark from Gaga on the Graham Norton show about the dress being made into jerky and that I recently saw Black Versace dress of Elizabeth Hurley go through the DYK process.
Based on the Hurley dress, I think that the Gaga dress has an even stronger case for the free image that is currently on the article as the Hurley dress still gets shown in exhibitions and would appear the same as when it was originally worn - whereas the Gaga dress has been preserved in a way that has changed the actual fabric of the outfit and would affect the appearance. While there would be no chance of the image being used as fair use anywhere else considering that there are free use images of Lady Gaga available, I think in the absence of a free use image of the dress itself that there is a very strong case for using the image on the article specifically about the dress. The only thing I could potentially see as replacing it would either be that a free use image taken at the VMA's becomes available or if someone made an exact replica of it (only replicas of it I've seen are inspired by and not direct copies) and a free use image became available of that. Miyagawa(talk)18:12, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think so, I'd like to work it up, but was thinking of waiting a month or so as I'm sure there will be further press coverage of it once it's actually in the exhibition at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame because I'm sure it said that it wasn't there on launch. Miyagawa(talk)14:58, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I picked the crocodile image so it would match the title =D I'm glad to hear that you're doing better. If you don't mind me asking, what type of injury did you get/what happened. When I broke me leg and had to learn to walk again physical therapy was just hell. Best of wishes!! Crystal Clear x305:55, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ouch, that sucks. I was gonna suggest leading the pedestrian life, but then I remember that my injury was from getting hit by a car, so traveling on foot isn't much safer! =o Crystal Clear x307:36, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
On a more positive topic (but a somewhat painful one for me), did you here about The Tree of Life (film)'s Cannes reception? I thought it was going to be huge there; instead it got booed (and apparently the booing lasted for like 10 freaking minutes)! Oddly enough, that only makes me more curious to go see it lol Crystal Clear x3
I explained there why the genre thing is like that. As for RedOne, I feel a Timbaland-esque scenario coming pretty soon. (I like "Dirty Dancer" though.) — Legolas(talk2me)09:24, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Musically, if he doesn't change the dance-beats soon. Its all the same 120 bpm progression he's choosing nowadays, right from "On the Floor". Gaga gave him the platform, but have you noticed that while others are latching on to him, Gaga is slowly moving towards a different direction musically and sonically. ReOne should also learn that. — Legolas(talk2me)09:30, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Judas - The Remixes
Hello Legolas2186,
Thank you for correcting my post, I just noticed I made an error while citing the webpage. However, I am going to change "The Remixes" back to "Judas – The Remixes" since that is the correct title of the album, I don't know if you have noticed but the same applied to the "Born This Way" remixes (part 1 & 2). Have a good day! :)
Hi. I hope you are fine. Have a look at this video. Even Beyonce's management team cannot do better in my opinion. I can't wait for the video of RTW. I wonder when it will be released.
Here.
Jivesh • Talk2Me13:05, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I saw that. The video for RTWG has been delayed again I heard, she is really letting this single go down. I'm sure Matthew is losing sleep at night, thinking of ways to get back on board with Sasha. — Legolas(talk2me)14:24, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Legolas, i believe RTW video will be another "Single Ladies" type. Several people have already started making their own video. For instance here. And i have to admit that they are good. Jivesh • Talk2Me11:22, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ya but OTF was already a hit. Whatever be the outcome i do not care. Beyonce will always be my fave, I respect her for not switching to the pop generic lane as almost every artist as doing right now. Jivesh • Talk2Me16:44, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No it wasn't. OTF was just near the top 5 in iTunes. The video premiere propelled it to #1 in almost all the nation's prompting Radio to take notice of her. As for Bey, of course she will never be generic. — Legolas(talk2me)16:46, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
To tell you frankly i do not know what generic really means. I just saw it an a lot of newspapers having news related to RTW. RTW is already doing good at radio but concerning downloads, sales are very poor. Perhaps, the poorest Beyonce has ever had. I have to admit it. Jivesh • Talk2Me16:50, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
American Idol is a great show to perform on, because it is shown all over the world. OTF had its performance boosted (well, AI completely resurrected JLo's career) and Dirty Dancer is doing pretty good in Australia and New Zealand, where it hasn't even been released. An with a video as epic as the RTW one looks, I am pretty sure that it will re-enter the top twenty in charts. Adabow (talk · contribs) 05:10, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Agree Ada. And Jivesh, generic are those singers who do the same songs over and over again. For eg, Katy Perry, Justin Beiber, Rihanna from today's stars and Mariah Carey from yesterdays. — Legolas(talk2me)05:12, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh and also the generic R&B/Trying to be R&B-Dance like Jay Sean, Jason Floprulo, Taio Snooze, Iyaz Flop etc. I can spare B.oB only for "Airplanes". — Legolas(talk2me)05:20, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
...and it kills me, but even Usher is falling into that trap. They're like moths, attracted to the bright lights ($$$ from mainstream audiences). And "Nothing On You" is my favourite by Bobby, but maybe it's coz of the catchy chorus. Adabow (talk · contribs) 06:08, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Legolas. Given that you're part of the Lady Gaga WikiProject, I need your help. I uploaded a cover for Hair, which you can find here, but I honestly didn't know the proper way to source it and give it a license. Before, it is deleted, is there something you could do to avoid this? --Evengan (talk) 00:20, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I replaced the speedy deletion template for {{Non-free album cover}}. I guess that solves the problem. On another note, when can we move the article to the mainspace? --Evengan (talk) 01:12, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Legolas :) If you're free, can you tell me the position, volume, issue, date etc. for Faith Hill's "There You'll Be" on the European Hot 100 Singles Chart? I might work on the article later, as I'm currently more into country music :D Novice7 (talk) 13:54, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. After a performance on X Factor, the song re-entered the charts in the UK, Ireland.. It also entered the Euro Digital Songs chart, I guess. Novice7 (talk) 04:18, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm but i did not see her doing much dancing. I love when she dances. For me she is one of the best dancers in the music industry. She completely blew me away with the choreography of "Single Ladies". My sister dances to it everyday while watching the video. My mom finds it too repetitive. Jivesh • Talk2Me06:47, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ya SL was that good but she shouldn't repeat it ever. And no she isn't one of the best dancers. Hell I was bored at the I Am... Tour of her continuous hip-thrusting. And ummmm, upgrade ur sis, will ya? Lol. — Legolas(talk2me)07:08, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmmmm i did not really understand the last part of your message. By upgrade, do you mean i should tell her to do something else? Actually she is only 4 years old. Jivesh • Talk2Me07:26, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have just been watching an amateur video of the Oprah performance, and I have one thing to say: Beyonce is back for real, bitches! I can't wait for the televised performance or the music video. At 4pm UTC (I think I calculated correctly) I'll be asleep, then off to mock exams... :-( Adabow (talk · contribs) 10:11, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Willow Smith does not have a great liking for Beyonce but she adores Lady GaGa. She told tonnes of praise about her. And i do not see anything bad about Beyonce. Oh YEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Andrew, that was phenomenal. That's how you do a live performance. Jivesh • Talk2Me13:40, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I cannot understand you Legolas. You are just like my friend. You talk well. Yes i agree but most of the time, i do not understand what you want to say. Bye for now. We will talk later. I have to go and do my prayers. Take care of you and your wife who cook good briyani. Lol. Jivesh • Talk2Me14:18, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Asking receipts means I'm asking for proof of your statement. As for scheibe, its German for the word "Shit". "Scheibe" is one of Gaga's tracks in the album Born This Way. So I'm saying is "I want proof for your statement, else you are just talking shit." Got it sonny? — Legolas(talk2me)14:27, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Legolas, that was just my opinion. I do not have any sources claiming her performance was good or bad. It was just m,y opinion. Jivesh • Talk2Me16:33, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I knew that before hand actually from my friend in Rolling Stone. :P It seems Kesha changed her mind with "Cannibal". Girl is becoming intelligent. — Legolas(talk2me)04:24, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yah well i hate you lol (: How are you? I just listened to BTW (every track leaked about 5 hours ago), what do you think of it? And you really need to update that crappy ass article. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 04:40, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Busy with too much of exercise to strenthen the leg. And no I refuse to listen to the tracks untill my album order arrives. Though I gave in and listened to "Marry the Night" on Farmville. For some reason "Hair" made me remember Robyn's "Dancing on My Own". But MTN is awesome and people seem to be loving "Scheibe" (Shiza or whatever, German sucks) for what reason I don't know. — Legolas(talk2me)05:44, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The Fame source.
Hi, I think we should keep Billboard as a source too because is more recent and people will trust it more. The Fame sales keep people fighting all the time, that is why we should keep an official source like billboard. Thanks --Albes29 (talk) 09:16, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm happy to help you out in undestanding what can and can't be added in articles considerd good articles in Wikipedia (Case in point, my oppose in Ganguly's article). Accusing me of bigotry is the least thing you can do, as I know Ganguly personally (he's my neighbour). — Legolas(talk2me)11:22, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
She runs this mutha
Words cannot describe how much I love the RTW video. Now what I want is for B to release RTW on a CD maxi with the full length song, a decent B-side, a non-house remix and the fucking epic video!!! Adabow (talk · contribs) 03:01, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
OK first of all, her dancing is killer in this one, as is the fashion. Secondly, I could not help but think of McChicken thighs whenever her thighs were shown, bwahahaha. And lastly, great video, influences of "Run This Town", ending could have been better. — Legolas(talk2me)07:34, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The dancing is a bit weird at the beginning - trying to start a new style again? And most of her shoes are clumsy, and the ending.... But the scene with the yellow dress is fabulous. Adabow (talk · contribs) 07:47, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That video is just like the song, for me. Ambitious with some cool ideas and an interesting direction, but the execution just goes haywire. Like, what are the headstands in the sand all about? And the dancing seems ill-fitting in places. Not to mention...nothing actually happens. Her dancing is strong, and she looks great, but aren't those givens nowadays? Also, that weird necklace she's wearing in the beginning makes it look like her face is superimposed on a body in the early dance shots. I don't think that's what actually happened, but it looked odd to me. Anyway, can't imagine this will do a damn thing for the song. — Legolas(talk2me)08:17, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I like the early scenes where the background is her army. It seems... surreal? It's kinda differen to have a background of frozen backing dancers. And with both the video and the AI premiere, I think we'll see it back in the charts this week, maybe not a higher peak, but defo back in em. Adabow (talk · contribs) 08:30, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Its back to #70 in iTunes, so it did jump 100 places after the premiere. And the Oprah performance will definitely help I think, but it won't cross its debut peak, with airplay losing rapidly now. — Legolas(talk2me)08:33, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Of course, I won't touch the article without asking you before, when it charts. I don't know what WP:DYK is though... I read the page, but still don't get what it has to do with the Hair article =P Sorry, forgive my Wikipedia's policy ignorance. --Evengan (talk) 12:21, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That sounds great, thanks. Please let me know when we're ready to move the article. On another note: if any other BTW song charts on Billboard and they have enough information, can they have an article even though they aren't singles? --Evengan (talk) 03:53, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No no no, the discussion is still on. I asked him permission to request more editors to express their views there. How can i turn this into a review? Especially the first paragraph. Jivesh • Talk2Me06:18, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Jivesh, thats a negative review, so brace your poor heart, ma'dear. "New York writer Amos Barshad saw a small influence of "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it)" in the opening dance of the video. Although she called the over all treatment of the video as "funpocalypse", she was nevertheless certain that it would not help the song regain back its momentum on the charts. Essentially Barshad felt that the video was more suited for a third single of an album, not the lead single."rference Got it? — Legolas(talk2me)06:57, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Legolas, if you're free, can you help me out on something? What does this really say? I mean, can you summarize the article's review? Thanks in advance. Novice7 (talk) 14:23, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Easy. It talks about the musical structure and influence of Lady A, and composition of JAK. You can precise it like: "According to Tris McCall from The Star Ledger, "Just a Kiss" contains the specific structure found in Lady Antebellum's songs. It describes a tortured romantic scenario, the main vocals given by Scott and Haywood, and the situation being enhanced by the sound from piano chords and acoustic guitar on the verses and three-part vocal harmonies on the chorus. Lyrically it portrays how the female character's lines sung by Scott tries to fight back her lustful feelings, and precariously sighs the line "I don’t want to mess this thing up".
