I have re-opened the above AfD, as references had been added to the article since the last comment was left, and no one had addressed these new references.

Your input at the discussion would be most welcome! -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 15:05, 16 June 2010 (UTC) ps: apologies for not notifying you earlier when I notified all the other participants in the AfD - I overlooked your name on it! -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 15:05, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Essay killers

While I've tried twice now on WT:CSD to introduce speedy essay reasons to no avail, it is still quite apparent that this is a problem. I guess there's nothing that can be done. Anyway, I see you often on my AFDs for essays, and I'm sure I've commented on some of yours. If you ever have an AFD that goes unnoticed and you need a vote, let me know. It seems we have similar thoughts on such matters. Cheers. — Timneu22 · talk 15:21, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Note that I've replied on my talk page, and I'm no longer watching this page. Easier to keep the conversation in one place. Thanks again. — Timneu22 · talk 15:29, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just to let you know that the above AfD, which you participated in, has been relisted due to some significant sourcing being done since you commented. If you have time to review the changes made, it would help form a consensus one way or another - if you feel it's still insufficiently notable, by all means say so. ~ mazca talk 11:34, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've been away for a while and come back to find the article had been deleted at your request. I'm not going to cry over split milk nor do I want to get into I flamewar but I am curious as to why when the talk page learly showed that it had been put up for deletion immediatly after it was created and on appeal kept (I'm not going to recreate it as I don't have the time to log in every day to continuously appeal deletions).

The article The Imp (television series) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable. This "series" of one minute long shorts is not even listed at IMDB.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Xajaso (talk) 18:39, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

DYK nomination of Crissal Thrasher

Hello! Your submission of Crissal Thrasher at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Hi Joe, I noticed that the hook and the related sentences in the article were a really close paraphrase of the source, a tightrope that we all walk I know, but this does need addressing. Mikenorton (talk) 05:35, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Culbann C.P.C

This article i created was deleted back in the summer, as I was away from wikipedia for a long time I did not notice this happening. Yes it is fair that there is no notable online resources that covered the previous event. I will rectify this in getting resources saved for the one in 2011. But to re-instate the article is the evidence I will provide at the end of this comment suffice? It is a "draft" calendar for 2011 DTL clay shooting in the UK for championships, drafted by the UK governing body Clay Pigeon Shooting Association It clearly shows the location for the event in 2011 at Culbann C.P.C.

Thanks for any help.--Weeman com (talk) 19:12, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Deliver Us From Evil (Espion Series)

Hello Joe Chill. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Deliver Us From Evil (Espion Series), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 does not apply to books. Converted to PROD instead. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 22:47, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

But it is only available online. Joe Chill (talk) 22:54, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think you've identified a gray area. A7 says it applies to web content, but not to books. So where do ebooks fall? I'll start a discussion at WT:CSD. Feel free to join in. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 23:03, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. I'll join in. Joe Chill (talk) 23:04, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Response from the Author: Hi there. Thank you for your comments, but it is a book, an e-book granted, but still a book. I had received an email from someone that was trying to find the book and they suggested adding some brief details to Wikipedia. I was eager not to use Wikipedia as an advertising slot so left it with a simple explanation of the book synopsis and that it isn't out in paper form yet. I puposely did not include information about where to buy it etc. As far as I can tell the criteria mentioned states that "This criterion applies only to articles about web content and to articles about people, organizations, and individual animals themselves, not to articles about their books, albums, software, or other creative works." I have not written an article about me, only the book.

Also my apoligies for deleting the Speedy deletion thing on the page, if this is wrong. The information about this is a little contradictory and as I can't find either the button or tag it seemed the only option. AnniMation (talk) 07:30, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Barbie World Mixtape

Hello Joe Chill. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Barbie World Mixtape, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A9 only applies if the artist has no article, but Nicki Minaj does. Consider PROD or AfD - it seems unlikely that an "unofficial mixtape" released on the internet meets WP:NALBUMS. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 09:46, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That part seems to be a hoax. The original speedy deleted article said that it was fanmade. Joe Chill (talk) 15:24, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ikipedia:Articles for deletion/Desktop Cyber

Hi Joe Chill. Thanks for your great contribution to the "Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Desktop Cyber" page. I think we need more articles like your "Chill of the night". Cdccyber (talk) 02:59, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I like the article Chill of the Night!, but it would be nice to get it past Start Class. It's hard to do for a children's animation episode. Joe Chill (talk) 03:02, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The title is a reference to the Skull and Crossbones. That the filmmakers chose to capitalize the "B" in crossbones only added to confusions and led some reviewers to incorrectly seperate the word into two parts for their reviews. The correct title is just as you have it in your article. Good job. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 22:29, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
