Bieber

It is ridiculous that there is not even a sentence mentioning that she is dating Justin Bieber. It has been a well established public fact for months now, and whether some people like it or not, it is clearly a fact that belongs on her Wikipedia article. See, for example, http://www.torontosun.com/entertainment/celebrities/2011/03/06/17513671-wenn-story.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.65.67.94 (talk) 10:17, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

They're not married, and girlfriends don't count.--151.55.237.79 (talk) 13:59, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, this should be added.--Babar Suhail (talk) 06:06, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I actually think there should be a reference to her dating Justin. Longterm signifigant others ARE noteworthy. I've seen them mentioned many times throughout Wikipedia. 96.235.21.16 (talk) 17:06, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps someone should change her age to 19 years old, being that it's her birthday today. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.24.247.206 (talk) 03:00, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The birth date and age template is working just fine; I see her listed as 19. —C.Fred (talk) 03:58, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You need to mention MONTE CARLO

Hi, the film is mentioned in the 2010–present: Focus on film section. - JuneGloom Talk 00:04, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Half-Italian

[1] The "early life" section says her mother is "half-Italian". The two sources currently attached to this phrase say "a Texas native who is of Mexican and Italian heritage" (NYDN) and the other says "my mom is Italian" (showbizcafe video @ 0:35). The "half-Italian" phrase was originally sourced mainly to an article from the Fresno Bee (see Talk:Selena_Gomez/Archive_1#She.27s_Mexican). (Later it was sourced to PhilStar, but that's dated 2009, long after the content was in the Wiki article, so it may be circular.) Neither seem to be used now. I have no idea why the Fresno Bee article was removed; it certainly couldn't have been because it went dead, because it's readily available in archive [2] even now. But if the article isn't using sources to support the phrase, then the phrase shouldn't be there. Perhaps something less specific: "she has Italian ancestry on her mother's side"? Well the name Selena Gomez isn't Italian at all. When you think of Selena Gomez, you think Latin American, probably Mexican too. She is technically 3/4th Mexican and 1/4th Italian. Although she seems to not really have a connection with her Italian side. She is into her Mexican side more. I need sources to support this I know, but it DOES seem that she is more with her Mexican side considering she is learning Spanish not Italian, and was named after Mexican-American icon signer Selena. Some weeks ago, I pointed out that the article currently does not have a source supporting "half-Italian". I pointed out the sources that used to be there. Either sources need to be added, or the info removed. Gimmetoo (talk) 21:27, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
