Image tagging for Image:Ghsalbus086.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Ghsalbus086.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We requires this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Ghsalbus086.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Jusjih (talk) 04:15, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:DannyToTweathermanipulating.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:DannyToTweathermanipulating.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 19:42, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Law-svu-diane-neal-casey-novak.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Law-svu-diane-neal-casey-novak.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jusjih (talk) 00:53, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:GaryBurghoffMASH1975.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:GaryBurghoffMASH1975.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:08, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to InuYasha has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Thanks for uploading Image:LarryLinvilleMASH.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 09:27, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Grayleck

A tag has been placed on Grayleck requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Waterden (talk) 23:51, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Demon Inu-Yasha.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Demon Inu-Yasha.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 15:52, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

InuYasha Relationships

They are in-unverse and should be discussed in the Plot Overview if important enough. Not to mention they are way too long. If you look at other character GA articles, such as Rock Lee, Sasuke Uchiha, and Harry Potter (character), you see the same thing. The section isn't needed. Law & Order: Trial By Jury

Please do not include information about a supposed revival of this series until and unless there is verifiable information supporting this; none has been presented thus far. --Mhking (talk) 05:24, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I work for an NBC station. Nothing has been presented internally, nor for press consumption. Your source would not count as verifiable for Wikipedia purposes. Unless you can cite a independent, verifiable source for your information, please refrain from posting it. --Mhking (talk) 17:19, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please provide independent, verifiable sources (as noted by WP:V) for the claims, otherwise, the posting of your information on the Trial By Jury page would likely be construed as vandalism. --Mhking (talk) 18:28, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The Web site you cited and the information there is not verifiable and as such would not be suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia. Unless you can cite an official source that can be verified, please do not include that on Wikipedia. If you do so, it would be construed as vandalism. --Mhking (talk) 04:03, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Criminal intent episodes

I see you are working on these articles. Do you think you could possibly improve the plot descriptions so it says what actually happens in the plot, not just sets up the story? We do not use teasers, and the conclusion has to be given in order to be encyclopedic. This way of writing leaves them very susceptible to criticism. (& of course it wouldn't hurt to find a review or 3rd party description of each episode, to head off those who want to delete fiction material from Wikipedia.) But ifall you are going to give is the plot, at least give all of it. DGG (talk) 04:15, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Warnings

April 2009

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of Law & Order: Criminal Intent episodes, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Matthewedwards :  Chat  18:35, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to List of Law & Order: Criminal Intent episodes, you will be blocked from editing.

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to List of Law & Order: Criminal Intent episodes. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, as you forgot on your recent edit to List of Law & Order: Criminal Intent episodes. Thank you.

Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to List of Law & Order: Criminal Intent episodes, as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from File:Kim Greylek - SVU.png, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Jack Merridew 06:51, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Law & Order: Criminal Intent season 9 episodes

Please use citations for the episodes you are putting up other than Neal Baer's Twitter, TV.com and various blogs. Wikipedia requires these to be cited, and when you neglect to cite properly, your edits may be reverted. Trista 24.176.191.234 (talk) 17:11, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I find your edits to be utterly disgusting and disruptive. See Talk:List of Law & Order: Criminal Intent episodes#The state of this article. That's all I have to say. Matthewedwards :  Chat  20:51, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
