Chennaraopet is a village and a mandal in Warangal district in the state of Telangana in India.[1]

Geography

Chennaraopet is Located at Five km south of Narsampet towards Nekkonda. The administration and Police station lies 1.5 km Away from the Village.

The major Crops here are Rice, Cotton, Chilli, Corn and Ground Nuts.

Chennaraopet is nice village. It is having two famous lakes north side and west side. North side lake is called Mogdoompuram cheruvu and West side lake called Kopakula Cheruvu.

There was a Dora called CHENNARAO, who has given all of his land to poor people. They built houses and named village as Chennaraopet. Chennaraopet itself contains four parts, they are Chennaraopet, Kattaiahpalle, Mogdoompuram and Akklcheda.

Its basically HUB for education around villages. People used to come to this village by walk for education.

Kandi Veera Reddy Garu Was the First Sarpanch of Chennaraopet Village and He Was Elected Continuously for 30 years.

Hamsa Vijaya Rama Raju elected as Sarpanch of Chennaraopet Village.
