Thanks for correcting me at the Bill Cosby article. Now I will know not to cite 8 sources for a single sentence! Thanks!

Broken navbox
Not sure what happened, but when you edited Template:Telemundo telenovelas and series, the navbox broke. Please, check the results when using AWB. — Gorthian (talk) 05:06, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
- And again. At least this one was easy to fix. I don’t use AWB; don’t you preview the results when you use it? — Gorthian (talk) 04:36, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
- Another one — Gorthian (talk) 06:05, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
- Number four — Gorthian (talk) 06:07, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Gorthian: It doesn't provide previews. I eyeball but clearly sometimes miss a {{nowrap}}. Thanks for fixing those. I'll skim through more of what I've done to ensure there are no other mistakes. – Muboshgu (talk) 13:31, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
Austin Jackson
Well, you were correct in saying that we should all hold off in putting Austin Jackson on the Rangers. He's been released by the organization, having never reported. The problem is that his Wikipedia article is a royal mess - it has him on the Rangers and a free agent simultaneously. It also has him formerly playing on the Rangers. Perhaps you can do what you need to and straighten out that mess. Vcuttolo (talk) 08:43, 15 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Vcuttolo: I'll take a look. It probably needs some cleanup. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:15, 15 July 2018 (UTC)
I appreciate it. I just looked back, and I see that you cleaned it up. That said, when you Google Austin Jackson, and before you click on his Wikipedia article, there is a box of Wikipedia information which shows him on the Rangers. I am too much a novice to know how to clean up that part. I hope I am explaining this well. Vcuttolo (talk) 02:10, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Vcuttolo: I do see that Googling "Austin Jackson", it says "Current team: Texas Rangers (Outfielder)". There's not much we can do about that. Google pulls that info from various sources, including but not limited to Wikipedia, using their algorithms. With time, it should update. – Muboshgu (talk) 02:32, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
Okay, got it. I always thought that box was part of Wikipedia. Now I learned something. Once again, thank you. Vcuttolo (talk) 02:58, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
- Happy to help. – Muboshgu (talk) 03:24, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
Urgent page semi-protection
The page Josh Hader is experiencing very high levels of vandalism and BLP vios at the moment. Can you take a look at it? Aspening (talk) 04:24, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
- Semi-protected for a period of 1 week, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. – Muboshgu (talk) 04:29, 18 July 2018 (UTC)

Hi - a quick note to seek your input on the lead to the Tom Yawkey page. An edit was made yesterday by an unregistered user to change "alleged racism" to "racism", which I reverted (as being unsupported by source material). My revert was today itself reverted (by a registered user). I don't want to get into a revert-war, but I don't feel the current lead is appropriate (his legacy is pretty clearly disputed, as demonstrated in The Boston Globe citation that accompanies the line in the question in the lead). Would like your input on this, when you may have a chance. Thanks. Dmoore5556 (talk) 19:18, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
- Sure. – Muboshgu (talk) 13:31, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
Zach Britton Trade is now confirmed
https://www.mlb.com/news/yankees-agree-to-deal-for-zach-britton/c-287154688 there, MLB has reported it. Bdu754 (talk) 02:54, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Bdu754: That's not MLB, that's MLB.com, and it has editorial independence. Read the first sentence. "The Yankees have agreed to a deal to acquire O's closer Zach Britton, pending physicals, according to MLB.com's Jon Paul Morosi." So much hedging. "Have agreed". "Pending physicals". "According to" a source outside of the organizations. The Orioles make trades that fall through because of physical exams a lot. – Muboshgu (talk) 03:00, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Bdu754: "Have agreed" is common wording these days for "he has not signed". That being said, the link above now confirms the deal: "The Yankees acquired O's closer Zach Britton on Tuesday ..."—Bagumba (talk) 04:25, 25 July 2018 (UTC)

Cole Hamels to Cubs
It was posted on ESPN prior to my edit.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Sbelknap (talk • contribs)
- @Sbelknap: Not sure if you mean "Cubs hoping for vintage Cole Hamels as they make playoff push" from ESPN. In that one, it says trade is not official:
On the surface, the trade with the Texas Rangers of Hamels for minor league prospects -- which the two sides haven't made official yet -- is a risky one

Ethan Happ article
PROD wasn’t really the way to go on this one. Happ meets WP:NCOLLATH as a legitimate All-American (major national award) and he also meets WP:GNG, which WP:BEFORE should have turned up. Now, the article is outdated and poorly sourced, but if you want to push sourcing then WP:AFD would have forced that issue without the risk that the article gets deleted without sufficient review. I will add sources to the article today so it’s clear the player meets GNG. Rikster2 (talk) 10:28, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
Ted Metz
Thanks for being an asshole. That page was not a violation. Ted himself gave me permission to copy the information from his page and use his photo for that article.
It's bullshit that you Republicrats are so butthurt that a Libertarian might get some lime light.
Railfan2012 (talk) 01:39, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Railfan2012: Be WP:CIVIL or you won't be here much longer. We follow basic principles found at WP:5P and that page violated them. Even if you have the candidate's explicit permission to copy his page, we can't accept that. Wikipedia is not to be used for promotional purposes. – Muboshgu (talk) 01:43, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
Muboshgu, I gave them a final warning for the post towards me on their talk page, so now they've created their userpage. Think this is enough. Home Lander (talk) 02:43, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Home Lander: I agree. – Muboshgu (talk) 02:52, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
- ...and I think their talk page rights can go bye-bye too now. 02:53, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Home Lander: Yeah I shouldn't have forgotten that. – Muboshgu (talk) 02:56, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
- No problem, hopefully they're more civil than this with their political endeavors. Home Lander (talk) 02:57, 28 July 2018 (UTC)

DYK for Lucy McBath
On 29 July 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Lucy McBath, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the fatal shooting of her son inspired Lucy McBath to advocate for gun control and ultimately run for the United States Congress? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Lucy McBath. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Lucy McBath), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

You left me a message: See bleow
"Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Kamala Harris. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment"
First off, I did not feel the message was nonconstructive (which is nothing but your perspective and censoring of fact) as you put it. In your pusillanimous attempt to look down your nose at me and and comment. If you researched before removing or chastising others, you would have found this is a fact and is pertinent as to who she is or isn't and the smoke screens and mirrors surrounding her and those like you who promote her. i suspect if i had written something negative about Trump, it would have been ok, not that i am a supporter of his — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mensa517 (talk • contribs) 02:23, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
Messi article needs an indefinite lock
Hi. Thanks for protecting the Messi article. It became unprotected after the three days of being padlocked were over. Issue remains though, when it becomes unprotected (which it hasn’t been previously) on August 9 the same issue will occur. This is one of the busiest bios on the site, and being a sports page it is prone to vandalism, especially given the player involved and the team he plays for. It needs indefinite protection. Thanks. F8RIL (talk) 14:31, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
- @F8RIL: We tend to increase protection incrementally rather than going straight for indefinite. I do agree that vandalism is likely to continue based on the profile of that individual. If the vandalism resumes on August 9, ping me, and I'll protect it for a longer period of time. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:46, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
Hillary Email Scandal
You reverted an edit without any comment or adding to the talk page. This is long past controversy, and does not meet the definition of controversy. Bongey (talk) 01:37, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Bongey: I should have left a comment. That was my mistake. You did well to post on the talk page with your next move rather than try to edit war. But, there is no "scandal" there. It was a ginned up controversy. – Muboshgu (talk) 01:57, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Bongey: Never mind. You had started off so well, and you went and edit warred. Mind WP:BRD, which says the established version stays until consensus changes. Undo your edit or risk being blocked. – Muboshgu (talk) 02:08, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
- Template:Re:Muboshgu You can remove this , you sanctions link is some kind of threat I guess.Should be an un-involved admin commenting, not one involved in conflict. Just delete this section , giving up on wikipedia. Bongey (talk) 02:49, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
