Sub-zero Image and Caption
I changed the caption in the first image to direct to Sub-zero instead of Noob Saibot. I understand that the character in the image is actually Noob Saibot because it is from the first game, but it seems to me that if the caption says Sub-zero it should direct to Sub-zero, where the reader can read the clarification between the two charactors. Anyone else have an opinion? stemperm 16:09, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
I should think that there is enough explaination in Noob Saibot's article of his origins that such a change is not required. Noob Saibot is correct for the character involved. Madslocodemente 03:15, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Guilty Gear Destoryed Moves
Some of the Destroyed moves in Guilty Gear seem rather reminiscent of Fatalities, i motion to include them in this article.
I think Baiken's is the only one that bears similarity to a fatality. BassxForte 21:06, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Fatilities in other games.
Whilst I do not agree with an article merge between Finishing Moves and Fatality (Mortal Kombat) I think this section could be covered of by stating the influence it had on games which followed and then linking to the Finishing Moves article to expand on it. The games mentioned are covered off in Finishing Moves already. Madslocodemente 02:53, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Have gone ahead and made a change as per my above comment as no-one spoke out against such ideas and it makes sense. Madslocodemente 22:38, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
WTF?
Why was the seperate (sp.?) page for Friendships removed? I always used to love visiting that page and seeing what all the Friendships were. But now... :( MORTAL KOMBAAAT!!! XD (talk) 03:48, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Merging Brutality Page
I'm entirely against it. It may be useless information, though it is abundant, and fans like to know that useless information. (Kombat Krave 23:17, 31 December 2007 (UTC))
- The Brutality article has no secondary sources and does not satisfy Wikipedia:Notability or Wikipedia:Notability (fiction). There is nothing to support the separate article. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Friendship (Mortal Kombat) for a similar discussion. Pagrashtak 18:54, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- Merge them, seriously.Master Bigode (talk) 19:43, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, the various spin-offs of the Fatality that appeared in the various Mortal Kombat games should at least be mentioned in the article. --138.73.70.48 (talk) 07:05, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Fatality.png
Image:Fatality.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Animality
Wasn't the first animality technically in MKII when Lui Kang turns into a dragon and eats someone's upper half? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.71.10.207 (talk) 22:13, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
Some form of reception
http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2010/03/25/paul-ws-anderson-for-buck-rogers-the-pros-cons/ There appears to be some form of reception for fatalites: "very appeal of "Mortal Kombat" is built around that source video game's Fatalities." It seems like I'd be putting WP:OR, any suggestions? Subzerosmokerain (talk) 23:18, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
http://gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2010/05/03/the-best-and-worst-mk-fatalities.aspx Can this be considered reception too? Sincerely Subzerosmokerain (talk) 23:04, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
http://www.pcworld.com/article/177648/7_mortal_kombat_series.html A brief mention of Fatalities being the reason of MK's fame, by PC World. Sincerely Subzerosmokerain (talk) 19:34, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
Cultural Impact: Fatal1ty ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.124.116.101 (talk) 08:48, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
The trademark name "Fatality" or "Fatalities" is often being used in generically-referring to the death moves (or finishing moves) in similar fighting games, which some of them already have their own trademark names for their death moves (e.g. "Overkills" in Eternal Champions, "Claytalities" in ClayFighter 63⅓), while the official name for the death moves in some others are currently unknown. "Friendship"
in the article, it says the phrase "Friendship! Friendship? Again!" I sincerely doubt this is the case. The two Friendships do not have different punctuation, and only sound slightly different. The phrase "Again" is non-existant. Can anyone confirm? 74.128.56.194 (talk) 19:58, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
- It appears in MK3 and MKT as saying that. In MKII it did not have the different inflections, but in those titles I stated it did. Sincerely Subzerosmokerain (talk) 22:47, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
