The 2024 Western Illinois Leathernecks football team represented Western Illinois University as a member of the Big South–OVC Football Association during the 2024 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by first-year head coach Joe Davis. The Leathernecks will play home games at Hanson Field in Macomb, Illinois. This was the team's first season as a member of the Ohio Valley Conference after leaving the Missouri Valley Football Conference following the prior season. They finished the season 4–8, 3–5 in Big South–OVC play to finish in a tie for sixth place.
