Damien Fotiou (Greek: Δαμιανός Φωτίου, romanizedDamianós Fotíou), is an Australian television and film actor of Greek descent.

Early life

Damien is a 1994 graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts and teacher and co-owner of "Brave Studios" and "Greentree Acting School" in Footscray, Victoria.[1]

Career

Fotiou had an early role as a second generation Greek Australian in Ana Kokkinos’ Head On (1998), now considered a landmark of Australian cinema.

He is also known for his television work. He had a recurring role in the science fiction series, Thunderstone (1999). He also played Nick Petrides in the soap opera, Neighbours making his first appearance in 2015[2] and last appearing in 2017. In 2021, Fotiou later had a recurring role in the TV series La Brea as Judah.

Personal life

Fotiou is married to his Head On co-star, Elena Mandalis, with whom he has two sons. The couple run a drama school in Melbourne, called 'Brave Studios'.[3]
