Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
[edit]- Goofy joins the Macy's Parade to celebrate his 60th birthday.
- The "Western Village" float joins the parade
- The Pinheads from The Balloonatiks comic series become the second antagonists to join the parade, the first being The Big Bad Wolf.
- Garfield comes back to the parade after a 2-year hiatus to prepare for his 15th birthday in 1993.
- Pink Panther returned to the lineup for his 5th year to promote the movie Son of the Pink Panther, which was released in 1993.
- Happy Dragon is retired after 1992 after 23 years of being in the parade.
- The Summer Music Games All-Star Drum & Bugle Corps joins the parade.
Toronto Santa Claus Parade

- Canada's Wonderland joins the parade again, in a new float titled "King Midas".
- The "Special Delivery" float joins the parade
