Asad Ali Memon (born September 15, 1997) is a Pakistani mountaineer known for his high-altitude climbs. He is the first individual from Sindh to summit Mount Everest and has completed several notable expeditions across various continents.

Early Life and Education

Asad Ali Memon was born on September 15, 1997, in Larkana, Sindh, Pakistan. He completed his matriculation at Larkana Public School and later earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) in Karachi.[1]

Mount Kilimanjaro (Tanzania)

In February 2021, Memon climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in under 20 hours, reportedly becoming the first Pakistani and first Asian to achieve this feat within 24 hours. This achievement received coverage in various media outlets.[2][3][4]

Mount Elbrus (Russia)

In August 2019, Memon summited Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe at 5,642 meters, making him one of the youngest Pakistanis to achieve this milestone.[5][6]

Mount Aconcagua (Argentina)

Memon summited Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak in South America, on January 26, 2020. The mountain, standing at 6,961 meters, is considered one of the most challenging climbs in the region.[7]

Mount Denali (North America)

In May 2022, Memon successfully summited Mount Denali, the highest peak in North America at 6,190 meters. His achievement was recognized by several organizations in Pakistan.[8]

Mount Everest (Nepal)

On May 21, 2023, Memon became the first climber from Sindh to summit Mount Everest, reaching the peak at 8,848 meters.[1][9]

Spantik / Golden Peak (Pakistan)

In 2023, Memon climbed Spantik (Golden Peak), which stands at 7,027 meters in the Karakoram Range.[10]
