Carriage House Studios is a recording studio in Stamford, Connecticut. The studio was opened in 1980 by Johnny Montagnese.[1]. It is 45 minutes north of New York City.
The studio is known for it's live room and vintage analog gear, including an SSL 4000 E Series, Wurlitzer, Rhodes, Steinway Grand Piano, B3 Hammond Organ, and it's large vintage drum collection[2]
Artists such as Beyonce[3], Pixies[4], Beach House, Diana Ross, Paul Simon, Rakim, Warren Haynes[5], Deftones[6], and Pantera have recorded at the studio.
