Dannyjoe Carter is an American guitarist born on January 20, 1965 and was listed in Guitar World Magazine as the Fastest Guitar Player in the World. He is also the owner of DeJayce Guitars and effects pedals.
Dannyjoe Carter was born in Fort Worth Texas and is of English descent as his grandparents were from Liverpool England. Coming from a musical family, his grandmother was a classically trained pianist and his mother a classical singer. Dannyjoe as young as three years old showed an interest in guitar and used a Hot Wheel racing track as his guitar. But it wasn't until Dannyjoe was 13 years old that he got an actual guitar and started to play due to the fact that his mother and grandmother did not support the idea of him learning rock and roll guitar. They had strongly encouraged him to play violin.
From thirteen years and on until present day Dannyjoe has not put the guitar down once and has excelled in extremely technical and extremely fast playing. Mixing his love of 70's arena rock and southern rock with hints of classical from the music he heard in his youth, Dannyjoe uses rapid fire arpeggios, fluid fast legato lines and insanely fast staccato picking runs in his music with an unusual tremolo bar effect to create a southern rock and slide guitar sound.
Dannyjoe has recorded several albums however they have been self-released and not on a major record label. He also has a YouTube channel and has many followers for his unique style of playing.
Dannyjoe also is the founder and creator of DeJayce Guitars and effects pedals which he pursued after having several endorsement deals that he walked away from due to quality control issues as well as poor craftsmanship.
