Arun Chockalingam, better known as Dr. Arun, is an Adjunct Professor in the Epidemiology Division, Centre for Global Health, who is originally from India, and currently lives in Canada. He has a diverse and comprehensive background that combines global health research, policy development, training and administration. In addition to his extensive work in these areas, he has demonstrated International leadership within the global health community.
Arun Chockalingam was born and raised in Karaikudi, India.
Career
[edit]He has held executive roles at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Health Canada, and the World Hypertension League and an academic and health researcher for over 40 years.
