The Escola Secundária de Raul Proença is a public secondary school located in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. The director is João José Bernardes e Silva.[1]
História
[edit]ESRP first operated in the early 1970's. Initially, it operated in temporary facilities at the Pavilhões do Parque D. Carlos I. The school moved to its current premises in August 1982 and officially adopted its current name on May 10, 1984, in honor of Raul Proença, a renowned figure in Portuguese politics, literature and education, to mark the centenary of his birth.[2]
ESRP developed a name for itself in Portugal after being considered one of the best public schools in Portugal.[3]
