Kevin Anton (born August 26, 1970) is an American film and television actor and filmmaker.[1][2] He is best known for his role as wrestling legend Harley Race in A24's The Iron Claw (2024) and Larry in Amazon Studios' Dead Ringers (2023). [3][4][5] [6]
Early life and education
[edit]Anton was born in South Orange, New Jersey and trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City under the guidance of Anna Strasberg and Irma Sandrey.[7]
Career
[edit]Anton's early television credits include roles on series such as Unforgettable, The Mysteries of Laura, Blindspot, Seven Seconds, Gotham, and Showtime’s seven-part limited series, The Loudest Voice (2019), where he portrayed Fox News Executive Warren Vandeveer. Anton also played Larry on Amazon Studios' Dead Ringers, a modern take on David Cronenberg's 1988 film of the same name, starring Rachel Weisz[8] Notable film credits include wrestling legend Harley Race in The Iron Claw, which was written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Sean Durkin, and Father Tim in American Dresser.[9][10]
Personal life
[edit]Anton currently[when?] resides in New Jersey with his wife, Gina, a labor and employment attorney, and their two dogs.[11]
