Md. Tauseef Alam is a social worker, activist and a legal researcher and currently the Director of Junior Justice[1][2] an organising bridging gap between legal services authorities and people in need of justice through education. Along side his social work he is currently assiting the office of Shri Sujeet Kumar, Hon'ble Member of Parliament and Chairman, Petition Committee as a Public Policy and Law Researcher aiding him to address the issues of national Importance before the Indian Parliament (Rajya Sabha). He has also assisted Senior Advocate and a veteran politician Salman Khurshid in AMU Minority Status[3] and SC/ST Reservation Matter[4] before the 7 judges at Hon'ble Supreme Court of IndiaHe is also a Black Belt Shodan (初段) awarded by the Global Seishinkai Shitorye Karate Do Federation[5] in the year 2020.

Law School

Tauseef is currently a penumilate student at Lloyd School of Law[6] and have been the topper of the batch from the begining. Avid Researcher with publications in varied areas of law and social issues. As a resracher he has various publication as The impact of AI and Machine Learning in the Legal Profession,[7] Medical Negligence: A Dilemma of Consent and Body Autonomy;[8] Juvenile Justice in the Present Era[9]; Violent Truth of Child Sexual Abuse;[10] The Myth of Consent in Marriage etc.[11] and more that is published by various International and National Journals. He has also participated in prestigious moot court competition as Oxford Price Media International Moot 2024, and more. He has also presented paper before esteemed Commonwealth Legal Association (CLEA) golden jubile international confrence whose evauation committee was led Hon'ble Mr. Justice Surya Kant, Judge Supreme Court of India.

During his Law School he has a expercience assiting the Additional Solicitor General SV Raju[12] in high profile PMLA matters, the Hon'ble Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court, Hon'ble Mr. Justice TS Sivagnanam into his judicial work as a judicial intern. Previously he assisted Hon'ble Justice Bivas Pattanayak[13] Judge, Calcutta High Court. As a responsible citizen and a law student he has worked with the Delhi Child Rights Commission[14] and West Bengal State Legal Services Authority[15] which inculcated the idea access to justice for all and social work.

Social Causes

After along efforts he got issued a direction by the Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education vide F.No.17-5/2023-U.5 to the University Grant Commission and All India Council for Technical Education to investigate the issue and take necessary action. After these collective efforts and Public Interest Litigatio by Dr. Jaya Thakur at the Hon'ble Supreme Court the Government of India has in present have formulated the Uniform Menstrual Policy for the entire country. The Uniform Menstrual Policy introduced by the Government of India represents a landmark initiative aimed at addressing menstrual health and hygiene issues across the country.[16]

He has also assited the Hon'ble Member of Delhi Commission for Child Rights (DCPCR)[17] in Implementation of Mandated HIV test for POCSO victims as a research assistant to this project, where the steps were to be taken by the commission for effective and efficient implementation of Medical Examination of POCSO victims with HIV testing being the stress area.

Karate Journey

Tauseef began his journey as a Karate Player in his early school days and began gaining prominence over the West Bengal Team. He was affiliated to the Global Seishinkai Shitorye Karate Do Federation[18] affiliated by the Karate Association of Bengal and was guided by Shihan Swarup Jasu and Hanshi Premjit Sen.
