Release

[edit]

Initially announced to release in October–November 2023, the film was re-scheduled to release on 14 June 2024.[16][17] But it was again postponed due to the Lok Sabha elections.[18] The film was then scheduled to release on 6 September 2024.[19]

On 30 August 2024, Ranaut claimed the film was being denied a certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification possibly due to external pressures.[20] The Government of Telangana has also considered a ban on the film due to objections raised by the Sikh community members.[21] Later, the film was postponed due to these reasons.[22]

On 17 October 2024, Ranaut shared on social media that the film had been finally cleared by the CBFC.[23] Finally after being cleared by the CBFC it is set to release on 17 January 2025.[24]
