Jacques Neirynck

Jacques Julien Neirynck (born 17 August 1931) is a Belgian-Swiss writer, politician, and emeritus professor at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).[1]
Neirynck was born in Uccle, Brussels, Belgium in 1931.[citation needed] He studied electrical engineering at UCLouvain, eventually graduating with a PhD in 1958 and then becoming a professor.[citation needed] Around 1994, he became a Swiss citizen.[2]
He is a member of the Christian Democratic People's Party of Switzerland.[1] He was a member of the National Council between 1999 and 2003 as well as between 2007 and 2015.[1]
