Jason Alexander Pinnock (born June 30, 1999) is an American professional football safety for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Pittsburgh.[1]

New York Jets

Pinnock was selected by the New York Jets in the fifth round, 175th overall, of the 2021 NFL draft.[3] On May 7, 2021, Pinnock officially signed with the Jets.[4] He was waived on August 30, 2022.[5]

New York Giants

On August 31, 2022, Pinnock was claimed off waivers by the New York Giants.[6] He was named a starter in Week 12, recording seven tackles while playing 100% of snaps. He finished the season with 41 tackles, 1.5 sacks, three pass deflections, a forced fumble and recovery through 14 games and five starts.[7]

Pinnock was named the Giants starting strong safety in 2023. In Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins, Pinnock picked off Tua Tagovailoa and took it for a 102-yard touchdown.[8] He finished the season with 85 tackles (fourth on the team), two sacks, six pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and two interceptions through 16 starts.[9]
