Joella is the stage name of Joey, an American drag performer competing on the seventeenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race.[3]
Career
[edit]Joella is a drag performer also known as Joella Perry. In 2021, she performed alongside Katy Perry for the opening night of her Play concert residency at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada.[4] In 2023, she appeared in Baby Tate's music video "Wig".[5] She got her first name, Joella, from a friend from high school who called her Joella.[6]
Personal life
[edit]Joella is based in Los Angeles.[7] She is gender-fluid[8] and of Chinese descent.[9]
