The image I am referring to from this presentation shows the newer hud from 2001, while the SIGGRAPH 2000 demo referenced here (yes, this demo was demonstrated in 2000) has the HL1 HUD. Please stop reverting this, it didnt happen in 2001, that is false. Danke.
14:1514:15, 20 October 2024 diff hist 0 Half-Life 2 This is shockingly enough the SECOND time i've had to correct this. The demonstration in question was in 2000, not 2001. Anyone who knows the way the source engine was developed would know this as the screenshot of this demonstration has the Half-Life 1 hud still, while screenshots from a Valve presentation in october/november 2000 show the newer hud found in the leaked build.
