  • 08:3608:36, 19 September 2019 diff hist −132 Raion Maybe this segment was an artifact of a previous iteration of this article or maybe an editor misunderstood how the term "subnational entity" was being used in the previous paragraph. As it appears now nothing before this clarification or in the rest of this article suggests that raion is commonly used to refer to ethnicities or nationalities in a multiethnic state. I don't have any reason to doubt that it might be used that way but it's a jarring clarification and confusing when neither t... Tags: Mobile edit Mobile web edit

  • 08:0308:03, 15 September 2019 diff hist −6 Ecumenopolis I think that reference to either 1997 (Return of the Jedi Special Edition) or 1999 (Phantom Menace) as the "most recent" popularization was outdated even if it remains the most widely recognized example. Popular video Games and movies have featured planet-wide cities many times in the two decades since then. I chose 1999 as the edited date because coruscant is not explored enough to realize that it's a planet-wide city in the Return of the Jedi re-release and probably couldn't be described... • 08:0108:01, 23 August 2019 diff hist +2 October Revolution I'm pretty sure this is what was meant. "After the Council of Soviets, now the governing body had its second session..." needs a comma after 'now the governing body' if it means that the Council of Soviets had *now become* the governing body instead of the provisional government But the sentence looked awkward that way so I tried to reword it without changing any of the meaning. This isn't at all about what actually happened. If Rep. Don Ross' dissent is clearly established to have no basis then it shouldn't be mentioned there in that format. The "three top experts" should be in a separate section about the report with information describing the strength of its conclusions. The previous wording resembled an editoria... • 08:5408:54, 16 June 2019 diff hist +84 Roman Republic Farming: The phrasing "resorted to" implies that Roman land owners were primarily compelled into this arrangement by a scarcity of citizen labour. This is belied by the Caesarion tactic of promising agricultural work to citizens through limiting the percentage of work that slaves could be used for. That policy's popularity along with the estimates for plebian unemployment undermine the idea that the use of slave-labor was broadly compelled by worker shortages. I'm not trying to elimina... I attempted to use the least provocative language but having come to the IBM page to research the less disputed aspects of its cooperation I actually had difficulty navigating to the correct page because I didn't believe that dismissive mention could possibly be the proper link. The previous wording is disingenuous at the very best. Tags: Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit
