  • 19:0619:06, 19 February 2024 diff hist +390 Grant Study Updated the length of the study. Since it's continuing, put an automatic calculated age on it (note that the grammatical article (a/an) would need to be changed when the length reaches 90 years; I couldn't find a template to do this automatically). It started in 1938, so using 1939 in the calculation to not overstate the age; not perfect but at least better than the 75 years it stated until now. Also added start year, with reference. Slightly unsure if study is still active, but assuming. Tag: Visual edit
  • 12:4412:44, 19 February 2024 diff hist +37 Animal testing Removed misplaced comma. Also requested citation for claim that seems to defend the animal testing with a strong claim which requires equally strong documentation. Notice that dogs were also used to test novichok which is definitely not good for anyone. Also, the fact that we are even doing animal testing (specifically on gentle dogs) is psychologically harmful, so whether it results in a "definite improvement in the quality of life for both humans and animals" is doubtful. • 13:2513:25, 16 February 2024 diff hist +165 Yankie Bar History: Added sentence about the name. Also removed "and both the American troops and the Danish youth found it very tasty" after having a citation requested for it for 2½ years without anyone adding one. It's a nice statement, and I find the bar tasty too (it is still being made), but we cannot claim that without a proper citation; even with a citation it would also need rephrasing to even make sense as something provable. • 17:3517:35, 31 January 2024 diff hist 0 Vaseline Specifically in the generic form in many languages, vaseline is not spelled with a capital V as it is a generic term. (Just as one example, here is the official Danish spelling of vaseline: https://dsn.dk/soeg/?soegeord=vaseline). Of course, in German the generic form would still be capitalized, but that is because all nouns are capitalized in German. Tag: Visual edit
