Prize Money

Anybody knows why e.g. Garcia and Mertens have different prize money ($45,000 vs. $125,000), although both of them won one RR match [1]?--Kacir 23:47, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't seen the prize money rules but your link shows each of the four group winners got 200,000 for the round-robin stage, each number two got $125,000, and each number three got $45,000. The ranking points are determined by the number of wins but the prize money is clearly determined by the position in the group. Garcia came last on games won but nearly came first. Of course, OMG, I'm blind ;). Till last year money rules were these, it means per each win (like at WTA Finals). Now I expexted the same scheme. Thank you.--Kacir 01:46, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
