Deletion

[edit]

I am opposed to the deletion of this article under the grounds that it is a major EP for the group and although it is sparsely cited, there's not a whole lot to cite. If Wikipedia intended to eliminate all the album and EP articles that were similar to this one, then it would have to eliminate thousands of articles. That's not happening and I don't see what's particularly bad about this article, such that it would particularly deserve deletion. Tiger Khan (talk) 05:33, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yes, the goal is to eliminate thousands of articles. Wikipedia articles must be on notable subjects. Every album by every band cannot possibly be notable. Wikipedia is not supposed to be a compendium of human knowledge. Merge the material to the band's page. Fee Fi Foe Fum (talk) 03:49, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • I don't understand. How is this any less notable than Blewbury, one of the articles on your page? I'm far more likely to look up information (track lists, etc.) about a CD by a major underground hip hop group than about an English parish with a population of 1,528. I am willing to bet incredibly large amounts of money that this page receives more hits than many other articles, among them Blewbury, Upton Snodsbury, etc. Tiger Khan (talk) 05:01, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
