Expanded the introduction section and broke off the location information from 'history' and into its own 'location' section. Some other general cleaning up. Probably still needs more work in the later sections, some of it doesn't read encyclopedic. EDG1984 (talk) 04:15, 16 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Whoever wrote the original article has done a good job and knows their local history. However, I've done a bit of cleaning-up and will add stuff as and when I get time. Some questions to former and current residents: weren't the shops (Monach Rd, Lamlash Cres, etc) built at the same time as most of the houses? The first secondary school was Lightburn, across the Edinburgh Rd. It changed its name to St Gregory's when Cranhill Scondary was built. What happened then?--RDT2 14:46, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've done a bit more editing and removed the cleanup tag. The article could do with a bit more work to make it more attractive. I'll work on that when I get more time.--RDT2 17:15, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
