Talk:Elevator consultant
IAEC, QEC?
[edit]Are there any sources outside the organization "IAEC" supporting the need for a "QEC" as part of an elevator consultant's educational background? This text appears under the heading "educational background", however, if only 8 people in the world hold this "certification", and those 8 people are all part of this organization, is there any actual relevance to this section in the context of elevator consultants at-large? This seems to be original research, possibly vanity edits posted by the sponsoring organization.
Additionally, this article requires cleanup to remove jargon and add relevant citations. If there are no objections I will take initiative in this regard.

In culture
[edit]As there are not very many references to elevator inspectors in culture (popular or otherwise), it might be of some interest to notice that Colson Whitehead's novel "The Intuitionist" is devoted to that particular subject. --Oop (talk) 23:06, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
