Research
[edit]I’m a PhD student at Northwestern University doing research on hourly car rental services like ZipCar and iGo, and I'm looking for interview participants to talk about their car rental experiences. I'm based in Toronto, but we can arrange to do a phone interview if you're not local. Please contact me if you’re interested in participating. Thanks! Bokonon6 14:39, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
How can this be speedy when it's notable and verifiable as a car sharing service. We have others like it on Wikipedia already and I'm planning to create the rest of them as well. Tedernst | talk 23:41, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- I believe it is because the information is "very" lacking. Are you planning on adding more information about this SPECIFIC company? Noah 23:56, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, working on it. Tedernst | talk 00:02, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

AutoShare
[edit]There are quite a few car sharing organizations (see Template:car sharing that have articles and more that don't. AutoShare is the first one I've created and I plan to create the others as well, but I see you've marked it for speedy deletion. Why is that? Thanks! Tedernst | talk 23:43, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- Because it appears almost solely to redirect to website pages and has no other info. This is against WP policy.
- It's a stub. Stubs are there to expand. Where's the policy you cite? Tedernst | talk 23:51, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

- I don't understand the relevance of this policy to this article. Could you please spell it out for me? Tedernst | talk 00:25, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
- Also, it just occured to me that the problem might be the template and not the article itself. Is that so? Either one, or both should be addressed, if they are the problem. Tedernst | talk 00:25, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
Yes
- Mere collections of external links or excessive lists can dwarf articles and detract from the purpose of Wikipedia.--Light current 00:33, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
- Okay, I've removed the external links from the template. Could you please remove the speedy tag from AutoShare now? Thanks. Tedernst | talk 00:41, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
- You can do that with my blessings--Light current 00:44, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
