DOT versions

Export locomotives
[edit]There were 21 U30Cs built for the Iranian Islamic Railways in 1992. Road numbers are 2001-2021. The Tazara Railroad in Tanzania received 14 U30Cs built by Krupp in 1982-1983. Another 17 U30Cs were received from GE by Tazara in 1990-1991. Road numbers for Tazara Railroad are DE1001-DE1031. Preservation
[edit]According to the Diesel Shop website there are four preserved U30Cs. BN 5383 is at the Illinois Railway Museum; BN 5802 is displayed in Gillette, Wyoming; Dept. of Transportation 001 is at the Pueblo Railroad Museum Foundation in Pueblo, CO; and Reading 6300 is preserved by the Reading Co.
