Clinical trial without results

[edit]

In this edit, this sentence was inserted:

Pregabalin another GABA analoque was more effective than clonidine in reducing opiate withdrawal symptoms.[1]

But, that link/ref is to a (completed) clinical trial that, at time of writing this, has no results posted. I am removing that sentence. Kimen8 (talk) 16:10, 15 October 2023 (UTC) Kimen8 (talk) 16:10, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Revert 3 December 2023

[edit]

OptimalEngrams, I have reverted this edit because it appears to cite a clinical trial rather than a review, meta-analysis, or the like. Please see WP:MEDRS for what acceptable sources can be used to support an addition to the article. Kimen8 (talk) 17:20, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Text about suicide risk

[edit]

The text "According to an insurance claims database study, gabapentin use is associated with about 40% increased risk of suicide, suicide attempt and violent death as compared with a reference anticonvulsant drug topiramate." does not appear to have a citation and does not refer to a meta-analysis or review article. Since the source is not cited, I think this sentence should be removed. Taylorchas (talk) 15:26, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
