the small town
[edit]I know the filming for this show took place in Los Angeles but does anyone recall during the show them mentioning the name of the small town where this is supposed to take place?
Feels like it ought to have come up at least once but I can't remember hearing it. Would like to mention it in the article. JotsBank (talk) 17:20, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
Cast and Character Information
[edit]Was it necessary for the 'Cast and characters' section to update Nicholas Alexander Chavez and Micaela Diamond's characters' names to their real titles? I mean, at the beginning of the series and before the twist in episode 7, they are clearly called 'Father Charlie' and 'Sister Megan'. To me, it was a huge spoiler to find out through a Cast Listing that they're a Doctor and Chief of Police, and I'm not sure if that section needs to be updated as the show is airing.
I went through the MOS:TVCAST guidelines and it doesn't state that it should or shouldn't remain unchanged, as to prevent spoilers. Is there a guideline that justifies it? Universallyaverage (talk) 23:15, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, there is a ruling in the Spoilers section of the style guide that not only allows, but also justifies this. :(
- “It is not acceptable to add "spoiler warning" notices or to delete information from (or hide it within) an article because you think it spoils the plot. Such concerns must not interfere with neutral point of view, encyclopedic tone, completeness, or any other element of article quality (e.g., the lead section). […] This guidance also applies to other relevant information beyond simple plot elements, such as "surprise" casting information for a publicly released film.”
- Trust me, it spoiled the big reveal for me too. Trqalobaid (talk) 06:46, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
