[edit]I've substituted vague improvised statements with more accurate ones, supported by references. --Wetman (talk) 22:32, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
OK, allow me to speculate that the first cheese was consumed by a primitive, eating the contents of the stomach of a dead suckling mammal. Or perhaps the udder of a dead mammal itself. the udder of cows is still a delicacy in the Alps of Europe. No doubt however, cheese was eaten before it was invented. - Richard Thomas, cheesemaker, Australia 2016 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cheeseart (talk • contribs) 07:54, 18 July 2016 (UTC)

Grammar/Sentence Structure
[edit]Hello,
I plan on making a few minor edits to the sentence structure of this article. I also suggest a break up of sentences to increase conciseness and efficient word flow. I already made several edits last week to the introduction and "Earliest origins" section. These are just suggestions so I do welcome any input!
