Average Head Circumference Statement
Reference (2) under "Anthropometry" does not support the preceding statement. That referenced study aims to observe relationships between a few different head measurements. It never claims to estimate the average head circumference of a larger population. Furthermore, the sample size is very small--7 females and 8 males--and is arguably insufficient to make such a claim.

Hi, When you get fitted for a hat, the sizes are as follows.

Adult sizes circumference. Extra Small:53cm Small:54-55cm Medium:56-57cm Large:58-59cm Extra Large:60-61cm Extra Extra Large:62-63cm Extra Extra Extra Large:64-65cm.

The Wikipedia article states that the average head circumference in the US is 57cm for males and 55cm for females. That fits in with hat size charts. Also, measuring mine, my brothers and my fathers head just now is as follows. My adult female head is 55cm. My brothers and my fathers are exactly the same at 58cm. We are from the UK.--Kandyce 2013 (talk) 12:24, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Biocular breadth (5) sizes can't be right.

[edit]

The biocular breadth sizes look way off to me, almost double the size of the pupil distance can't be right. Harold999999 (talk) 14:13, 29 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
