Rename suggestion
[edit]The modern connotation of the word "Itinerant" in English is extremely negative despite it being historically an exactly correct word. Because of that, I suggest a rename on this page to something like "Traveller groups in Europe" or "Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller people in Europe" ("Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller people" is the formal UK designation[1][2]) Zentomologist (talk) 00:45, 10 November 2017 (UTC)

Suggest removing link to the page on Vagrancy (people)
[edit]This page is not about vagrants, but about peoples who can be proud of their families' traditions. Vagrancy is not even mentioned. A link to a page showing how vagrancy laws were used against itinerent groups could be appropriate - the page 'Vagrancy (people)' does not do that job. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maimon123 (talk • contribs) 14:07, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
"kaffers"?
[edit]Where did the indigenous Dutch travelers come up with the word kaffer?6 2607:FEA8:FF01:4FA6:4468:6D1B:E35B:4B3E (talk) 18:14, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
