My edit summary got truncated by a finger slip. I removed the "before Christ" phrase as I don't think that's NPOV. Zora 04:39, 10 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I think that BC and AD are less wrong than "before our time" and "common era" (or similar) since BC/AD shows which date is supposed to be the base. The fact that

A: They got date of Christ wrong is of no importance.
B: That the calendar is one of the most used if not compleatly dominating is only because they got many things right and that the other calendars either are impractical or combating each other.
PS I would personally like a change to Julian day calender since that would make many things simpler.
