Errors
[edit]The article states that Jan Pinkava was not credited as co-director in the "opening credits." The film did not have opening credits; at the beginning it simply showed the film's title, as all Pixar films do. This is especially concerning because the way the sentence is written suggests that Pinkava was somehow done wrong by having his name withheld from opening credits that didn't exist.
Broken reference links
[edit]It seems both reference links are broken, can anybody look into this? xDCDx 13:13, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
This page should stay locked until there is something salient to be added, which seems some way off in the future. Reasonable requests for references are not being contested here. There have been repeated credibility assaults on this entry attempting to call into question legitimate information contained in this article. The information is sourced inter alia from the Czech language website about Jan Pinkava (to which a link is provided in the article). To ask for further citation or verification of material to which links are already provided is to suggest that only information already in English is a valid reference. Catch 22. An insoluble problem. This entry *IS* a partial translation from Czech sources, link provided. The overassertive sceptic is reminiscent of a small child asking Why? and responding to every answer with another Why?. E.g. it is extraordinary to question whether Jan Pinkava is the son of Vaclav J K Pinkava aka Jan Kresadlo, when this information is available on the web from more than one (Czech!) source, including newspaper interviews. Perhaps the best link might be http://kresadlo.cz/rodokmen.htm last section, but this too is in Czech. Another example of standard information being questioned is a quote by Michael Rodd from a TV programme on British TV from 2001 which is being cited. What is one supposed to do here? Link to a transcript of the TV programme? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.245.64.142 (talk) 17:33, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
