production/filming

[edit]

i see some edit/reverting going on regarding "scenes shot in montreal that take place in moscow", which is incorrect, and "scenes shot in montreal that take place in rome", which is also incorrect. no scenes in the film take place in moscow, and the source is a foreign language, pre-release piece that (upon translation) is simply itself citing rumors ("our information says..", etc). i have found a montreal english language review that notes the montreal architecture seen in the film takes place during "the subway shootout" (which this article will itself note occurs in new york during the plot, though that would fall under synthesis i guess). i would suggest simply excising this reference and the source. Scenes shot in Montreal appear to mostly be substituting for NYC (street scenes, the assassin montage) interspersed with stuff actually from NYC. This includes subway scenes, interior public passageways, and car chases. -- 65.94.168.229 (talk) 03:40, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Assassin cell phones

[edit]

Does anyone know what was the phone the majority of the assassins got the contract messages on? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.28.227.177 (talkcontribs) 16:15, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ares' fate

[edit]

I was under the impression that Ares died. John stabbed her in the same place as he did Cassian. Except unlike Cassian, whom he told to keep the knife in lest he bleed to death, John pulled the knife out of Ares. So that would suggest she eventually died.

I believe it is left intentionally ambiguous, as it isn't explicitly stated that she is stabbed in the heart, and John's reply "Sure" is questionable. 72.202.206.105 (talk) 08:59, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Party security shootout

[edit]

I wouldn't call Cassian's confrontation and subsequently John's pursuit by security forces unnecessary detail, it's one of the longer and more action-intensive scenes in the film. Werrrr (talk) 17:42, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
