Not encyclopedic
[edit]Can anyone explain to me how a random American player of football (soccer is a stupid name) is encyclopedic? Thanks. 213.84.141.145 (talk) 11:54, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
- Because he is a professional athlete playing in a professional league for one of its leading clubs. Can you explain to me how it is NOT encyclopedic? And by the way, Mr. Dutchman, if you don't know the etymology of the word soccer or know how the game got its name in the English language, you shouldn't be commenting on articles about the game. --JonBroxton (talk) 20:12, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
