Kato Crews → S. Kato Crews – The White House nominated him as such, indicating this is how the title should be. - Oppose Looks like Kato Crews is the more WP:COMMONNAME. Snickers2686 (talk) 22:49, 21 March 2023 (UTC)
- Wouldn't it be useful, at the very least, to put S. Kato Crews in the lead section? Because this seems to be how he is known professionally. If the article won't be moved that's completely fine, I was just wondering about how to best approach it. Losipov (talk) 00:06, 22 March 2023 (UTC)
- Are you suggesting something like this:
- Shane Kato Crews (born 1975),[1] known professionally as S. Kato Crews, is a United States magistrate judge of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado who is the nominee to serve as a United States district judge of the same court. Snickers2686 (talk) 17:35, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, that's what I was thinking of. To me, at least, it seems better to include. Losipov (talk) 20:55, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
- I see no problem with your suggestion. Sounds/looks good to me! Snickers2686 (talk) 03:31, 28 March 2023 (UTC)

- Relisting comment: More COMMONNAME analysis is wanted. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (投稿) 13:44, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. Current article name appears to be unambiguous and is trivially more concise. No reason to lengthen it. If the White House nominated him under this longer name S. Kato Crews, a redirect from it is a good idea, but that's all that is needed. Another from Shane Kato Crews would also be a good idea. Andrewa (talk) 16:46, 5 April 2023 (UTC)
