Removal of Traps section

[edit]

User:MindlessXD removed this section because it was considered non-encyclopedic information (http://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Lemmings_2%3A_The_Tribes&diff=83733431&oldid=83652464). A section on the traps in this game might be useful for some (especially new) game players, and could be used to indicate the progression of trap sophistication in the games. Could someone provide suggestions on how to make this section more encyclopedic? Gringer 12:14, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think it would be sufficient to cite one or two examples ("For example, space lemmings can be killed by an open airlock, while outdoor lemmings must avoid being eaten by a frog"), partially because the current mention of traps is that they are theme-specific. Lists tend not to go over well anywhere. Nifboy 17:13, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Should the description of skills section be rewritten to follow a similar format? Gringer 13:30, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, pick an example, any example at all, but no more, generally. I would make a point of how there are 40+ skills over the original 8. Nifboy 13:49, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Lemmings 2 box art.jpg

[edit]

Image:Lemmings 2 box art.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
