Horizon II
[edit]I would like to create a section on the second generation Horizon at the very end of this article. I am not making this edit directly due to a conflict of interest. Please peruse my proposed edit and add it to the body of the article if you think it an improvement. Here it is:
The second generation Horizon is a somewhat thinner, lighter, and faster refinement of the original model. The Horizon II is .8 inches thick and weights 15 pounds. The back of the device is now curved to make it easier to handle. The original Horizon's glossy display has been dropped in favor of a matte finish.
A representative review by Digital Trends praised the devices form factor but stated, "Lenovo thinks the touchscreen and fold-flat stand are an answer to that question, but we disagree. The system’s intended use just doesn’t make sense. No one wants to lug a 15-pound PC out of their living room to share photos with friends or play virtual air hockey. The Horizon was a bold experiment, but it failed, and the new model doesn’t do enough to patch its problems." [1]
