I'm confused. There is this list, of Canadian comedians (which is obviously non-exhaustive), and doesn't limit itself to comedians who are actors/actresses in TV/Movies, or still actively tour... What is the point of this list... and even moreso, what is the point of having a SEPARATE list of Quebec comedians instead of having a separate category in this list? If I have the time, I will combine and delete. ArdenD08:15, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
TONIGHT HE OFFICIALLY BECOMES A PROFESSIONAL COMEDIAN. PLEASE SEE THAT HIS NAME IS ADDED TO THE CANADIAN LIST AS I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO - NOR DOES HE. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.235.148.78 (talk) 16:05, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Should musical acts be included on this list? Wayne and Shuster did a number of songs, but they also did mainstream comedy. I'm considering Bowser and Blue, The Arrogant Worms and Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie. The inclusion criteria should be a reliable source (preferably here but could be in their main article) which specifically calls them comedian(s). An alternative to removing them from the list could be a separate section for musical acts, but I'm not sure I like that precedent (which could lead to including musical theatre, humorists, writers, etc.). – Reidgreg (talk) 13:43, 5 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
