This match for DR Congo seems the most evidence reliable so far. I'll change the references to DR Congo but remain happy to listen to any other arguments. Certes (talk) 16:22, 26 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Certes, it’s definitely Congo and not DR Congo going by one of the YouTube interviews I watched him feature in. I cannot find a source to see when he was called up and how many caps he earned but there is a minute segment where he talks about playing for Congo U20/U21 and who he played with in that team. The sites that have his nationality as DR Congo are incorrect. I will double check the video I do believe it’s his Grimsby Town unveiling. Many Thanks Footballgy (talk) 14:12, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. It's definitely some meaning of Congo, but did the video clarify that it meant Congo-Brazzaville rather than Congo-Kinshasa? There's also this report which says Efete has represented the Democratic Republic of Congo Under-21s. I've not yet found a source that specifically mentions "Republic of Congo" or any other unambiguously not-DR term. Certes (talk) 16:42, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
