This page has a very strange history. First the player was meant to have played for Nagoya (no player with this name ever has) and Man City (again, no player of this name ever has) and was meant to have scored goals in games that never took place. Now it's been construed as a misspelling of the NaoAki Aoyama at Shimizu S-Pulse. There's already an article for this player. I think this article has no relation to9 the genuine S-Pulse player and just needs to be wiped.OrangeWinghead (talk) 00:36, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I agree - I started editing this page after Googling "Naoki Aoyama" and finding him in the J-League. I then saw that there was an alternate spelling listed on Wikipedia (which appears to be the correct transliteration) - this led to me recommending the merge. One way or the other, you're right: this page should be done away with as it either is a duplicate page or it is a pure hoax. I'll put the PROD tag back up.BWH76 (talk) 08:30, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
